Since her earliest memories Patricia Fisher has been deeply connected to the natural world, a commitment that continues to infuse her work and images.

Living in Victoria, on Vancouver Island, Patricia is surrounded by unique maritime, inter-tidal and land-based ecosystems. Her contemporary work attempts to interpret and celebrate the rich complexity of these systems – many of which are under threat as we confront our global climate crisis.

Patricia’s printmaking practice uses multiple drawing layers which are fused to create limited edition archival prints. Her prints use water-based archival ink on 100% cotton hot press archival paper. This art practice is built upon Patricia’s decades long work in paint, stick media, and monotype.

Patricia is fortunate to be a respectful third generation settler on the unceded lands of the Lekwungen peoples and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples.
